The Tennessee legislature has introduced a bill that will reduce student-to-school-counselor ratios and increase direct services to students. This legislation is essential in providing Tennessee youth with access to school counselors who have the capacity to make a meaningful impact on their academic, attendance, and social/behavioral outcomes.
